PILGRIM’s 2007 contribution to MSF hits record high 

2007 was a new record year for sales of PILGRIM jewellery to benefit Médecins Sans Frontières.

The proceeds from the sale of MSF jewellery reached approximately EUR 393.925 this year, and the entire amount was donated to MSF in December.

Like last year PILGRIM is contributing the amount of the sales in their respective countries to the local Norwegian and Swedish divisions of MSF. The Norwegian division has received EUR 39.022 and the Swedish division EUR 66.802.

“We’re very happy to be able to donate so much money to the organisation, and I’d like to thank the many retailers who’ve agreed to sell MSF jewellery at no profit to themselves, along with the customers who’ve shown their support for MSF by buying the jewellery,” says the owner and managing director of PILGRIM Thomas Adamsen.

We just recieved new colorful styles from KumKum’s limited edition Summer 08 collection.
Our favorite must-haves are the very limited availability magic flower style with turqouise and the gorgeous multi colored necklace with every magical stone in the book!

We’re back from the short whirlwind buying trip to Denmark. We had so little time and so many vendors to see! It was fantastic though -good food and dinners with friends and many new brands that we are extremely excited about! It was good for the soul to be back to Scandinavia for a brief visit. Below are a few peaks into what’s to come but only a small part so keep checking in!

We met with the two sisters, Desiree and Pernilla, who do the design for Miss Dee. They are absolute sweethearts and and every single style from their collections are ‘gotta haves’ AND the price is unbeatable!

A new oldcomer is Silke (also from Sweden). We’re expecting new styles and colors for summer!

 Summer is around the corner and we had to bring in some styles from Nanso Lempivaate, a Finish company who creates patterns that are always ahead of their time (a young version of marimekko) and in dreamy eco friendly modal cottons that keep you warm when the summer nights get chilly and cool even at the high summer temps.

 Pandora (from Denmark) have released numerous new charms that we are swooning over! Spring is looking very exciting with lots of bright enamel charms, more gold/silver mixes that are the latest trend and from the Match jewelry we found at least 10 rings we have to have!

We also placed our order from Odd Molly’s Fall/Winter08 collections and we can barely keep this to ourselves -soooo many gorgeous things coming in late july/august.
