We need a part-time Sale Associate with prior retail experience. We are looking for someone long term – serious inquiries only!
We seek someone very special with the following qualifications:
You who have a wonderful and happy personality, whose positive energy draws people in and enhances the great feeling of our store.
You excel at selling and reaching high daily sales numbers, not because you are aggressive but simply because you genuinely love the merchandise we sell and enjoy going through the process of finding the perfect pieces for the customer.
You’ll be solely responsible for daily operations and on occasion this is a very busy store, so you have no problem with helping and servicing multiple customers at the same time.
Since some of our brands have hundreds of different SKU’s and price groups, you are able to learn and remember large amounts of information. (There will be an steep learning curve during initial training).
You are computer literate and feel very comfortable with searching and navigating our back end system for information and have prior experience with POS systems.
You are a strong person who does not get easily intimidated and can calmly enforce our policy while keeping the customer happy.
You are a great self-starter who pays attention to detail, quickly sees what needs to be done on a daily basis, and maintains weekly upkeep (jewelry cleaning/redisplaying/pricing/keeping the store clean/inventory control)
You are flexible with work schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Hey all! We are changing our opening hours for spring based on customer feedback. You wanted to shop earlier, so instead of 11am – we are now opening at 10am instead. Feel free to bring your cup of morning coffee:)
Please note, we will close an hour earlier during weekdays so our hours will be as follows:
MON – SAT 10am – 5pm
SUNDAYS 11am – 5pm

Today is a very special day in Encinitas! Festivities will kick off with the Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa in The Lumberyard courtyard (right by us!) on Coast Highway 101 at 5pm. The Parade will begin down the route at 5:30pm from D St. on the Coast Highway all the way down to J St. Kevin will be one of the judges at the Parade and I will be at deepFLING serving hot Glögg with the rest of the deepFLING gang:) God Jul everyone!
